Description
If you’ve been thinking about adding a retaining wall, garden feature, or privacy screen to your outdoor space, this gabion basket is a solid way to get it done without breaking the bank. Fill it with stones, pebbles, or gravel and you’ve got a feature that looks great and actually does a job whether that’s holding back soil, creating a border, or just adding some texture to your garden. At 100x50x100 cm, it’s a decent size that works well on its own or paired with a few others to build something bigger.
The basket is made from galvanised iron wire, so it’s built to handle whatever the Aussie weather throws at it sun, rain, the lot. No tools needed to put it together either, which is always a win. You just line up the panels and twist the spiral rods to lock them in place. The spacer hooks keep everything tight and in shape once you’ve loaded it up, even under heavy fill. It’s rated to handle up to 1800 kg/m, so it’s genuinely tough gear.
You can grab this one here at Simpledeals and if you’d rather spread the cost, it’s available on Afterpay too. Just keep in mind the stones aren’t included you’ll need to source those locally but everything else you need to get it assembled and ready to fill is in the box.
